First, let me start by saying that this afterword contains spoilers.

If you don’t want to be spoiled, skip over the next line, please.

The fourth volume has already been confirmed.

As I said in the previous volume, we, the three Dengenki Bunko Grand Prize winning authors  (Matsumura-san, Mikagami-san, and me), are gonna talk about the passionate behind-the-scenes of our plots’ creations.

Just in case that some of you don’t know, ‘plot’ is the ‘summary of important events in a story’ (That’s what Pedia-sensei said).

Well, as you’ve guessed from the way I wrote this book, I’ve never written a plot before.

I’m the kind of person who’ll write whatever I have in mind, and just submit it right away.

But, a voice in my mind always tells me that that’s no good. So, with the resolve, ‘I’ll learn how to make good plots from now on!’ I went and consulted the two people that I met at the award ceremony.

The two people are none other than the Grand Prize Winner Matsumura-san and the Gold Prize Winner Mikagami-san!

They just happened to meet and wondered what to talk about.

So, me barging in killed two birds in one stone! I gave them something to talk about, and I got to learn something from them, guhehehehe.

And so, while being all giggly inside, and putting the best cat-like eyes I could show, I asked,

“So, how do you write a plot again?”

My voice was smooth, as I glanced upward. Add a small fidgety movement to it, it was perfect!

No one should be able to not respond to that, so all I needed to do was to wait for their reply, and…

    ““Dunno, I didn’t write one.””

    End of the conversation.

Yeah, I can’t believe what I heard either.

I really thought they wrote it, so when I heard that, I just went, “Ah, I see~?” or something along that line.

    …Anyway, that’s good enough evidence.

You can win Dengeki Grand Prize without writing a plot!

That’s what I learned from our conversation, and I was left satisfied.

Oh, by the way, this is just something for you to take notes about.

If you don’t write a plot, you might find yourself in an endless loop of rejected outline just like a certain Grand Prize winner, or gets told ‘Well, the outline is so boring, R-san’ like a certain Gold Prize winner, and in the end, you’re stuck with only 30% of the original outline on the final draft. In other words, not writing a plot isn’t all rainbows either.

But… Well, this series is one example that you can get by without one (Did it 3 times btw).

And so, that’s the useless, but passionate behind-the-scenes of our plots’ creations.

Now, let’s move on to the thank yous!

First of all, thank you to everyone who’s picked up a copy of this book!

We’ve reached the point where the title of this book doesn’t match its content, but I’ll get around to dealing with that, so please bear with me for a little longer. Probably. Yep.

To everyone who’s sent me their tough love messages’, thank you so much for your thoughts!

Also, as I’ve mentioned on Bookmeter’s homepage, I’d like to see Yamada-san and Stinger-kun keep playing an active role to bring out the full charm of the characters.

To everyone who’s sent fan letters, thank you so much for the letters!

I hope the message I’ve sent in my own way reached you too!

I will continue to do my best to bring out the next volume as soon as possible while also taking care of my health.

To all my editor-sama, thank you very much for all your comments, lengthy meeting, and everything else!

Buriki-sama, thank you for the wonderful illustration! I’m planning to create some vague unspoken rules like ‘Let’s summon something in every even-numbered volume!’ so, look forward to the next volume as well.

Alright, now I’m going to end this afterword with the line I’ve always wanted to say.

This is where the real ‘Ore wo Suki nano Omae Dake ka yo?’ begins.

This time, it’s the normal Rakuda.
